Cherry Lemonade "Kool Aid"
- 2 cups cherries
- ½ cup lemon juice
- ½ cup white sugar
- 4 cups water
- Wash, dry, and pit your cherries. Begin by making a cherry syrup. Combine cherries and ½ cup of sugar in a small pot. Bring to a simmer, but do not boil. Until cherries have become soft and have released a good amount of juice. Set it aside to cool.
- Juice your lemons. Run it through a sieve. Place juice aside.
- Blend your cherry mixture and pro cess it through a sieve. Add water, cherry mixture and lemon juice to the pitcher and stir well.
- Pour cherry lemonade into a glass with ice. Enjoy!
