Bok Choy with Garlic & Ginger
  • 1 lb baby Bok Choy rinsed and dried
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • ¼ cup white Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 Tsp fresh Ginger, grated
  • 2 Tbsp Grape Seed Oil
  • ¼ cup Broth (vegetable or chicken)
  • 1 Tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • Salt, pepper as desired
  1. Trim the stems off and separate the leaves. Wash Bok Choy under running cold water. Allow the leaves to dry well. Mince garlic. Grate fresh ginger (if you use fresh organic ginger, you don’t even have to peel off the thin skin)😊
  2. Preheat skillet on medium-high heat and pour in oil. Add onions and sauté until slightly soft. The secret of retaining a nice gingery and garlicky flavor is to add ginger and garlic later in the process. Add garlic and ginger and cook for about 3 minutes. Place Bok Choy leaves into skillet and toss well to coat each leaf with aromatic oil mix. Pour in broth, cover and let cook for 2-3 minutes. Then toss it again. Add soy sauce, drizzle a bit of sesame oil. Season with salt and pepper as desired. Enjoy!:)
